Webサイトで複数の画像を表示させる場合、CSSスプライトと呼ばれる仕組みを利用することでパフォーマンスを向上させることができる場合があります。
CSSスプライトを利用する場合、当該サイトで使用される複数の画像を結合して１つの画像とし、CSSで画像を部分表示します。
CssSpriteManagerはCSSスプライト用の画像を作成するためのツールです。
